Too Big to Party

Last year’s office holiday party was a night of endless Christmas cookies and a one-night stand with a spoon. This year I Ghosted the party around 8:30pm and was home reading the excellent Too Big to Fail by 9, all wrapped up in my hoodie and yoga pants.

When did I turn into such a boring holiday narc?!

All hope is not lost! I partied like it was 1999 last weekend, and I have dinner plans with LIC friends tonight. There are at least two more Christmas cookie recipes I need to bake in preparation for the 2nd annual Jackson Christmas Cookie competition. Between all of that, I think I still have a little Christmas Cheer street cred for 2009, right..right?!

Well, if nothing else at least I’m giving away presents. No need to sit on my lap and tell me what you want. I know exactly what to get you…Pie !
