First day of spring.
70 degree high.
Not even one inch of snow.
See ya’ Upstate.
Meet me at the bocce courts at the winery. My brother and sister will be there, along with my Brooklyn friend Kim to get her first taste of Upstate.
You don’t have to play if you don’t want to. We hang out here to fight about how many pizzas we should order, catch up on local gossip, and run into some old friends…
…like Brian who is studying those balls so intensely it appears at though he’s floating like David Blaine.
Or Duncan, whose modeling future definitely lies in catalog work.
Bekah, Aaron, and I will need to do a little business. Won’t take long. They just bought their tickets to Australia, and we need to nail down where we will meet up this summer.
Besides Duncan and Aaron are already on to the next one…
…a volleyball tournament at my other sister’s house. You’re going to need sit on the hump in the back to make room for Duncan since there is no way he’s going to miss this.
For the record, you should know that I’m not entirely comfortable with team sports…
…whereas Aaron thinks this is an olympic trial.
My serve is not perfect…
…but my Haka is fierce.
See ya there. Unlike my serve, it will be perfect.

for the record, I love bocce but not as much as your t-shirt. Super Fab!
Duncan is certainly adorable, but your brother needs to get his headshot over to Ralph Lauren stat.
