So I get to work on Monday morning, apple pie in hand (which was FABULOUS btw), and what do I see on my desk?
TIM TAMS!
My boss was shopping at a Pepperidge Farm outlet in Connecticut and saw some empty shelves with two boxes of orphan Aussie cookies in desperate need of a good home. He swears to me that the cashier looked sad that they were leaving.
Tim Tams in the United States?! Must be a fluke, right? Wrong.
Twenty minutes later…seriously, twenty minutes, I get a tweet from Jean at Renovation Therapy. It was a beautiful landscape photograph of Tim Tams as far as the eye could see from a DIFFERENT Pepperidge Fam outlet in Pennsylvania!
Are Tim Tams defecting to the United States?! Has anyone else seen this at their local Pepperidge Farm outlet?! I must know!
If you have not seen Tim Tams at your market, no worries, mate. I have got you covered! There is still time to enter the Tim Tam Slam Giveaway. Join the millions of fans who are basically just weird about this cookie. Take some time to read the comments from those who have already entered. It isn’t just me! Since Graham Cracker coffee has a similar effect on people it makes for the perfect prize partner.
Enter now. NOW. You will not regret it!
In other news, I had a gross dream last night. I went on a family vacation, (but it wasn’t really my family) to Cape Cod, (but it wasn’t exactly Cape Cod) and there were all of these huge birds everywhere that kept clamping down on my fingers, arms, etc. Not biting, just clamping and hanging off of me!
Gross.
I hate birds.

WHAT???? They have Tim-Tams in the US???? Shut the front door!
They are going to sell Tim-Tam at Target in about a month.
But what I don’t know is if these the same quality of Tim-Tam as they sell in Australia?
Last year someone compared the Arnott’s version to the one being sold in the US under the Pepperidge Farm label and determined that the Arnott’s version was far superior.
