Holy moly, this is such a great read, even years later your flair still makes this review the best. I'm Matt, from Memphis, and Flight Coffee, and now I'm living in Cambridge, only a $15 bus ticket from you in New York! I'm based here but travelling to central and south America throughout the next couple of years as naturally researching where exactly our beans are coming from and meeting the growers is something you could see us doing :)

Bink is still hilarious, and I skype Nick everyday but still miss him...

I'm heading back for a month in Feb to set up our roastery in Wellington! Yay! So we'll all be there.

We should have a a coffee next time I'm in NYC, we can talk photography and travelling, and of course coffee. I hear Stumptown is good.

That's kind of how I feel about Semester at Sea--while I'll probably still do a bit of freelancing (and blogging, too, of course), it's essentially a four-month break from freelancing/pitching/networking my brains out, which will be a bit of a welcome relief! Only other self-employed, freelance gals can relate to that =)
